A rare and iconic “Abracadabra” modular shelving system designed by the celebrated Italian trio Jonathan De Pas, Donato d’Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi.
Produced in the 1970s, this system showcases the designers’ characteristic blend of playful geometry and technical sophistication. The structure features lightweight aluminium lattice uprights combined with wooden shelves, creating a visually striking contrast between industrial structure and warm materiality.
The conical feet and caps give the system its instantly recognisable architectural look, while the open-grid design keeps the piece airy and sculptural. Entirely modular, the shelves can be rearranged, repositioned, or expanded to adapt to different interior layouts.
A highly collectible and hard-to-find example of Italian radical design—ideal for displaying books, turntables, art and decorative pieces.
